sometimes an argument about values is like if this was an acceptable chess game:
ME: Alright, I'll gambit the pawn. Your move.
THEM: Okay, I'm up a pawn. I'm basically winning.
ME: I mean, I bet you believe that. Show me.
THEM: No, I've already proven you wrong. Just count the material, it's basic math.
ME: If you think like, four plies more, you'll see why I did this. You're in real danger of losing a knight.
THEM: God, you don't know when to quit, do you? I'm going to go discuss this with someone who can do MATH.
