This cat is Snowball, my parents' cat! He and his brother form Barnes & Snowball, like the defunct bookstore. They're lightly toasted white cats (hence why this picture looks orange); this picture was from when he was sad because I sequestered him in my parents' room to buy time for the traumatized mouse lurking behind our couch to escape elsewhere. (Actually, he wasn't sad; his face just makes this shape when he's biting his toys).
More facts about Barnes and Snowball:
- Snowball is something like 20 pounds. He's perfectly healthy; he's just both large and fluffy.
- They love to fetch "mice"-- little plastic or rubber balls that we leave around the house. He has a distinctive, loud muffled meow that he makes as he gallumphs down the stairs holding his catch.
- Snowball shares some of my most autistic traits. For example, he hates loud sounds-- if you sneeze in his vicinity, he will hiss and scream at you.
