i will never use a search engine that wants me to act as though i am texting an omniscient human

if i want to know what herbs go on salmon i am going to ask duckduckgo or the equivalent "salmon herbs seasoning" or something like that. i am not going to open up Corbyn the AI chatbot and ask it "Hello Corbyn. What herbs pair nicely with salmon?"

to be fair if I were to text say, my sister (not omniscient afaik), I’d probably lane closer to “salmon herbs seasoning” than “ Hello Sister. What herbs pair nicely with salmon?"

We're all ruined by growing up with early google where this was functional, now it feels like Google and search-traffic-optimized sites work better if you ask questions with all the filler words, not just spew keywords into the box.
