Why did they call it "RSA encryption" when "two factor authentication" was right there
my wife, reading this post: "what's RSA encryption?"
me: "it's an encryption system underpinned by the fact that it's hard to find the nontrivial factors of a large semiprime, but easy to check whether two primes multiply to a number"
her: "what do you mean?"
me: "ok, take 91..."
(ten minutes of explanation later)
me: right? because with encryption, you need--
her: FUCK. "two factor". i just got the joke.
