i love taking jokes and making shaggy dog variations on them. i heard a joke about a mantis a while back from a tikky tokky or something and now i keep coming back to like. this slow burn romance shaggy dog about a mantis. hes friends with this dude who wishes he knew any hot queers in his area because all his friends are straight. and the joke ends with the guy going "wait youre gay?" and the mantis is like "i was trying to drop hints all this time?" and the guy asks "wait what?" and then slowly looks down at the mantis' limp wrists (this part of the joke needs to be pantomimed)
