i was pretty good at them! a huge part of my school life was math competitions, which are, well. tests. some of them resemble standardized tests really deeply, some of them dont, but they are all "you have an unreasonably short time to sit and solve problems". which i thrived in, i used to be very good at thinking fast; now for whatever reason i move slower and break fewer things.
also i think my teachers/professors looked forward to my very uhh. voiceful writing in free response portions.
