Oh, I just had a thought about growth drives; I think the way Cohost handles shares is really not conducive to the sort of format that got started on Twitter.
Because if everybody starts sharing a post there you only see it on your timeline once, and not a new copy for every share from people in your network.
Honestly not really sure why Cohost has a system to just allow a single post to dominate your feed like that anyway. I don't really want sharing someone else's post to feel like I'm creating clutter.
Edit: Also I guess cohost's whole thing is "we want to de-prioritize engagement numbers" and a growth drive is "let's see how high we can push these engagement numbers" so there's a very fundamental conflict there too.
