If you're interested in a decentish paying (usually $20+ an hour with regular raises) unionized office job that's pretty low impact and boring in Seattle feel free to send me an ask and I'll send you the details in either an ask, discord dm, email, however your comfortable with.

The company works in union administration, folks here are pretty diverse/queer, and has actual room for advancement. It's not an amazing place and has some wonky hierarchy, it's still a job, but you'll be better treated than a lot of other office jobs out there. It's a good day job.

Edit: I should mention that the Covid policy is probably the biggest drawback. The position (and most that are available) would be in person. Masking is optional. I apologize for not including that in the original post.

Edit 2: there should be two positions open since I just got a promotion!

Edit 3: this has been very popular, which isn't too surprising. At least 10 folks have reached out to me on here (I actually lost count), and was just told there have actually been over 50 applicants to the posting already. So, if you reached out to me, please look at some of the other listings. I can't talk too much about what it's like in the other departments too well, but it shouldn't be too different.

I wish everyone the best of luck!

Edit 5: it looks like the posting might have been closed as of now due to the volume of applicants.

Unfortunately it would be in person. There are some positions that have hybrid options, but, at least the department and role I work and what we're looking to fill, doesn't have remote as an option. Some of the responsibilities involve mailing stuff so it's not entirely on the company.

As for COVID policy. It could be better! Masking is optional, but HR will send an email if there is a covid case reported. It's probably the biggest drawback of the company to be honest.
