i've been trawling my old twitter account for my most popular tweets and i think this one is worth transferring to cohost. thus, i present to you: simply the worst ability in a tabletop RPG.
GARBAGE TAKE OP
Once per session, you can trawl an NPC's social media accounts to find a personal beef, embarrassing take, or other form of hostile behavior which you can use as a form of social leverage. However, you also take d4 Mind strain as the GM tells you about the main character of Twitter for the day, according to the following format: "A(n) (CAREER) tweeted that (AWFUL THING/INNOCUOUS OR GOOD THING) is actually (GOOD OR INNOCUOUS/SECRETLY AWFUL) because of (NONSENSICAL REASON, optional.)"
Examples:
• A WRITER tweeted that A POPULAR TV SHOW is SECRETLY AWFUL because THE ACTORS HAVE PET DOGS.
• A YOUTUBER tweeted that EARTHQUAKES are GOOD because THEY HATE CALIFORNIANS.
