Kritter Kobolds are out now! You can come pick one up inworld at Okarthel or on the SL Marketplace

Features:

  • Full mesh avatar, with Bento and Fitmesh support
  • Masculine and Feminine chest options
  • Four eye types - Round, Slitted, BoM (Iris), BoM (Full)
  • Part-driven Head AO, Tail AO, Hand AO
  • 15 colors included (until LL pushes BoM for 2k textures)
  • Devkit included - Rigging + Texture Dummies, Substance Painter File, 2048 PSD

This avatar was intended to use Bakes on Mesh like the Kritter Sergal - layers you can mix and match and tint - but SL doesn't support 2k textures on BoM yet.

LL estimates September release for that feature. As soon as it's ready these'll get a free update.

A bugfix update for the Kritter Kobold is coming very soon - it was supposed to come out a day or two ago, but folks reported some fitmesh issues and Umbra found a bunch more so he took some time to try and iron those out. Here's a preview of how the updated fitmesh works with higher breast / butt / belly / fat sliders!

There are known issues with the shoulder width sliders (SL is being a weener about it) and tail position (tails not meant for the kobold are positioned way too low and in a way that tail adjusters cannot easily fix, which is a huge bummer). Umbra's going to look into fixing those as best he can, but no guarantees because of how exactly they're broken. We'll see!

Updates have been sent out; if you miss yours, you can grab it from a Caspervend redelivery terminal.

Changelog:

  • Fixed a seam for Chest type 2
    -Fixed Toeclaws not scaling with foot slider
  • Overall improvements to Fitmesh behavior across the entire model, but most notably the breasts on chest 2, body fat slider, butt size slider, and muscle sliders.
  • Improvements to Shoulder width behavior.
  • Included a link to an Applier script in the DEVKIT section.
  • Devkit Substance Painter file updated to correct the document resolution from 1024 to 2048(to match the PSD).
  • Substance Painter FIle updated to reduce shine on on the base layer.
  • Corrected some information in the Devkit section regarding file formatting.
