I cannot justify them given my current erasable pen stock but if you've been curious about Frixion pens and have been waiting for the right time that time might be now, because these are cute as hell. I wish the colour range was a bit broader... but that's because I don't want to have to buy a 24 pack to get another grey. T_T

I bought a couple Frixion pens back in like 2008 or 9 that never seemed all that great but I loved being able to erase them with a lighter 😅

I also had some around then, the like tattoo-design ones? I used them for taking notes but they felt like... slow? to write with? I don't have that issue with the japanese ones now, but it might be because I use the 0.7s.

I remember them feeling just a little less smooth/consistent than other pens but I don't think I used them that much after I got over the novelty.
LOL those are unfortunately the ones I like the most. They're definitely not as smooth as a gel pen or a good rollerball but they're smoother for me than most ballpoints so it doesn't bug me too much.
I think it was mostly that "erasable pen" wasn't a niche I needed to fill, I just wanted to try them. Plus I only got green and purple, which is kind of an awkward set of colors on their own.
