It was delightful!
One of the things that was actually the hardest to wrap out heads around was that folks in Wanderhome are fundamentally good. It took us a bit to accept that, yes, an overly excited weasel merchant wasn’t going to swindle anyone, an exhausted old magpie shrine keeper didn’t have any malicious secrets.
That probably has some sad things to unpack for us as players, and TTRPGs in general, but once we got over the hump you could feel the tension leave the table.
I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be up to the task of facilitating, but we ended up playing for four hours and my players wanted to play another session, so that’s a huge win!
