the reason there is so little blood in noir ( 2001 ) is that they are all canonically playing a fun game of laser tag and then everyone goes out for pizza and has a nice time and nothing bad happens 😌
sometimes they have knife lasers or eye glasses frame lasers or neck tie lasers. there's lotsa kinds of lasers. technology is beautiful 😌
