Sometimes there's fiction that really really really wants you to like their main character and May I Ask For One Final Thing? is one of them. It follows Scarlet Vandimion, a princess whose engagement to an abusive prince gets annulled by that prince. Now that she no longer has to care about putting up with that prince, she gets to do what she had wanted to do the entire time during the engagement and beats up absolutely everyone. This is presented as a good thing.
Like Bugs Bunny, she is always responding and doesn't just start beatdowns randomly. The work really wants you to feel that she's in the right and it's fine that she's throwing hands. I don't think it often succeeds since she often wants to start bashing heads in and then does so when there's the slightest justification.
It's a strange manga. Beautifully drawn and the action is kinetic. Ultimately, I think it lives and dies based on how much you want to see a princess responding to political intrigue by kicking ass. And I do want to see that.
