The first #boodooroll in glorious full color!

Looking around for reasonably priced film options on the old electronic bay I found someone selling 2 pro packs of 400H and 4 rolls of Reala 100 35mm which I could get for $140 essentially making the Reala rolls a pack-in bonus compared to local pricing.

At 10-years expired I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was indistinguishable from unexpired stock. This has been my experience with pretty much all negative film I've gotten so far. "Overexpose a stop per decade" is probably a good rule for something you find at a Goodwill or garage sale, but if someone has retired emulsions in 2022 you can bet they're a sicko who has had it in their freezer the whole time and they're selling it to make room for tofu sausage patties.

Of course I didn't know that yet, so I erred on the side of over-exposure for pretty much every shot and frankly I don't think the film takes well to it. So that's why even though I got this lab developed and scanned, I'm cheating and using my own scans from April which I pulled down a lot to restore some of the high end.

Nothing special, just some around-the-neighborhood shots with a focus on testing limits on how much dynamic range it could hold.
