The second, and final, roll I'll shoot with the Yashica TL-Super is another 12 exposure Fuji C100 roll to test the other M42 lens I got with it, a Sears Auto 135mm f/2.8.
Obviously Sears wasn't actually in the business of making optics, that's not their bag. Instead this is a Takumar or a Rikenon or something badged for retailing as a Sears. I don't have a date on it, but given the mount and the lack of any apparent modern multi-coatings I guess it's probably from the late '60s? Maybe as late as '71?
So how's the lens? Well I mean for $20 you can do a lot worse! Mine either got very little use or was very well cared for, because it feels mechanically like a lens that's a couple years old rather than a half-century. The filter is a bit larger than most of my Nikon primes (55mm instead of 52mm) but honestly I could probably get away with a step-down ring since it's a relatively long focal length.
