My first 35mm roll of Sensia came out great, so I went ahead and took one to Thanksgiving but HOO BOY this roll was clearly NOT from the same batch.

Developed in CineStill's kit with the "D9 Dynamic Chrome" first developer alongside a 120 roll of Provia 100 that was also expired.

The Provia dried black and clear pretty quickly, but this roll only ever barely got any better than it looked coming off the reel initially:a roll of 120 color reversal film with natural colors and black base hanging to dry next to a 35mm roll which has a distinct cyan cast all over

Images recorded very faintly, and spots that should be black between and around the frames are the color of Crest toothpaste.

Since it was my first E-6 process I'm really glad I did two rolls at once. The stakes of just completely goofing development were higher this way, but not by much since the Provia roll is just a bunch of test shots (look forward to BooDooRolls#0043, eventually. I haven't even scanned them yet.) and the payoff is now I can feel good about my development process and know this particular roll of Sensia was just well beyond saving.

C'est la vie.
