got the Hot New Video Game running in an emulator to see how it works and it seems like on a decent PC after a week or so of devs having the ROM to work with it's generally exceeding performance on our Switch so far, except for a goofy rendering error during the intro cinematic.
I can't imagine it's anything even close to Switch experience if you're trying this on a Steamdeck, though, so really this perf test is moot because who is going to sit in front of their computer and play an entire pkmn game. Especially with the length of some of these cutscenes, sheesh. This is a train game, a toilet game, a bed game.
