It's an isekai in which a doctor from our-world Japan finds himself in a world inhabited by dragons, chimeras, elves, dwarves, cat-people such as the one above, and regular ol' humans. The newly-arrived doctor brings with him a surprisingly large but still finite inventory of medical supplies, which he uses to perform surgeries and render other medical aid… and thereby completely upend the health care system (such as it is) of the world he's arrived in.

You can read the first chapter in English on MangaDex and chapters 2 onward from Animated Glitched Scans. The original Japanese source is https://pocket.shonenmagazine.com/episode/316190247042794872 (not linked so they don't see this post in their referers and start throwing copyright takedowns).

Are there any artworks of cat-people with a haircut that wouldn't hide the spot where human ears would be ?
It often occured to me that cat ears on top were cute but blank ear-spots would creep me out a bit.

I think about this every time i see that Gold Ship horsegirl and her permanent headphone things covering the Danger Spot, lmao!!

jack from twisted wonderland solves it by simply having more hair in the spot, which i think looks pretty natural:
jack howl

Sadly (or luckily) I can't find example images, but cat-people in Final Fantasy XIV can have that. Some hairstyles reveal the smooth earless part on the side of their heads.

I'll have to try and look for some FFXIV characters like that then, maybe I'll find someone willing ti share a screen.
I don't have anything to play it on myself unfortunately.
