Hi fronds: I just found out (through the news) that I may be out of work soon: https://missionlocal.org/2024/01/s-f-to-end-neighborhood-covid-19-vaccine-sites-shuttering-six/ . I work at one of these community vaccination sites in San Francisco. It's sad that a project that served one of the most underrepresented communities is losing all funding from the City.
So... here's my plea if you have any leads on open positions for tech management or data analysis jobs that are at a good workplace. I've been applying to some tech jobs here and there over the past few months with no good results. I'm also open to positions that are unusual or somewhat adjacent to these roles, as my current (possibly defunct) job is a tech consultant at the vaccination site which was not exactly on my radar when I was looking last time. I do also have a degree in geology! Though less work experience in that arena.
My main goal is looking for a long-term stable job that's at a workplace that emphasizes work/life balance (4-day week jobs would be preferable, part time is acceptable too if it pays enough). I'm in SF and would prefer fully remote or local jobs (i.e.: 20 minute commute or less). COVID is still going around though, so COVID mitigation measures would factor quite heavily into whether I'd go into an office.
My resume can be found here: http://simx.me . Thanks!
