I had missed last time that Harker had taken photos of Carfax (the English estate Dracula is buying) “with my kodak [sic]”.
Kodak's first camera had existed for several years by the time the novel was published in 1897. I guess the camera, film, and development were all available in England by then for Stoker to know of them and deem them available to Harker.
