@jkap

as of last thursday i am technically unemployed. i spent all my savings moving out of florida on three week notice earlier this year so i don't have a ton of time to rest.

i am looking for staff-or-above frontend (or frontend-focused fullstack) work. i do not want to be a people manager but i will consider technical-leadership roles. i would prefer remote roles but i am willing to do in-office or hybrid in boston. i will not relocate.

i've spent the last five years doing this. cohost's backend is built on node.js, typescript, and server-side rendered react.js. the frontend is react.js and typescript. it's deployed using kubernetes. i already had a decade of experience building tools and doing fullstack work prior to this.

my full resume is available upon request; message me on linkedin or e-mail me. thanks.

I could try to put in a good word at Microsoft if you're interested? I'm not a hiring manager or anything, and I can't promise anything of course, but afaik it does help. I'm pretty sure they have offices in Boston, but I'm 100% remote so that should be an option too.

I also understand if you're just straight-up not interested in Microsoft, to be clear. I'm doing alright with accessibility in Office, but there are parts of the company I have no desire to work for.

I know in Office specifically, there's lots of stuff using typescript and react!

We're desperately looking for more frontend-focused engineers at Warner Music Group, if that's something you're interested in? It's all fully remote, and I really like it as a place that's a tech organization but not actually part of a tech company (if that makes sense). Not sure how useful a referral from a relatively junior dev would be, but I'm happy to provide one if you'd like (let me know and I'll reach out by email for details), and even if not I do recommend taking a look! I'm also happy to share more details if you'd like, just let me know

That aside, thank you so much for Cohost and what you did here, I'm really sorry to see it go. Hoping for the best for you and the rest of staff
