They're building it from the middle out and there are years to go before they're ready for revenue service, and more still before they connect up to Caltrain and Metrolink. But the thing I voted for all those years ago is progressing.

CAHSR also has longer-term sketches for further extending the route through LA to Orange County, which will be even more my shit, and then to San Diego. I don't know the details of that yet and I'm not sure they do either, but I'm glad they're thinking about it.
