ok. getting virtualbox to play nice has been a failed several year experiment. time to learn qemu
fuck korg for making me have to have to use actual windows to just put fuckign samples on my lil volca sample. just make it a fat drive!!!! or literally just something you can mount!!!!!!! why is it not a normal fucking device !!!!! and the software to get samples on doesnt work with wine !!!! fuck off korg !!!!!
yeah we've found qemu to be easier than virtualbox. like - a giant pain, where we wind up having to maintain lengthy command-line invocations with tons of subtle details in them, but still less of a pain than dealing with the GUI in virtualbox
i only really need one machine so once i get it working im just gonna alias the command
