no one taped the mountain goats show i was at in february where he played my request. so im gonna start taping them myself
seeing them on 4/20 [>:))))))))))) [adeem the artist opening !!!!!!!!]] and im gonna bring my little zoom recorder. gonna try to tape the postal service when i see them in october as well
ohhhhhhh what did you request?? I was supposed to see them last week in Nashville but he was in quarantine and it's been rescheduled :( I still relisten to the show in NC I went to last year where I can kinda hear myself singing on one of the loud ones bc I was standing close to the taper. That recording is so precious to me
color in your cheeks :) matt had to learn the chords live, it was so fucking good lol. they played it again at another show about a week later. also i think i was gonna be at the show ur talking about but i woke up too late to make the drive in time. i went busking and played a lot of mountain goats songs instead
the first mountain goats show i went to was a solo show (on my birthday!) and theres a recording of that one. i listen to it a lot. this one
ah what a good one. and upon your request I'm so glad! he played color in your cheeks at my first show but during the solo segment I think
lol just relistened and you can actually hear me on color in your cheeks (and my voice which was, by that point in the night, going. It was gone by the next day)
i consider it a mild personal failure if i can speak the morning after a mountain goats show
