i hate white led street lights but i love that they fail purple. that fucking rules. its awful but i love it. i drove down highways for a couple hours to go to the mountain goats show a few days ago and hitting an occasional short stretch of purple in the deep fog, seeing it approaching, being engulfed, and then watching it fade in the rear view as quickly as it came was a transcendental experience. created a location where none had existed before
