i think empty spaces should adopt the humble textfile as a medium. posts are cool yes but theres something about 80 column textfile stories. much easier to have those live on beyond a platform or an account. the story can and will become separated from you the author, even if it carries your name. textfile archives are full of nameless named authors, both frozen in time yet also forgotten in time. i have folders upon folders of textfile stories written and shared on BBS's that havent existed in decades by authors who also havent existed in decades
