I finished reading The Three-Body Problem last night. I'm sorry to say that I did not love it. I feel like something was probably lost in the translation from Chinese to English. The writing style changed often, which made it feel disjointed.

It also does something where it proposes a really interesting scientific "what if?" near the beginning of the book. But then it's like, "lol jk, that's not what this book is about." That was frustrating.

I feel like I'd give it a B- if I had to grade it. Don't know that I'll read the sequels.

Have you read it? How'd you feel about it?

I don't know what to say about it. It's been a long, long time coming. I certainly don't regret watching all these years. There were some phenomenonal bits, episodes, action sequences, and characters. It was far from perfect, and the wait between seasons was atrocious. Yet, I'm glad I saw it through, and it's much easier to recommend now that it's all done.

Did you stick with it? What'd you think?

I just finished all 4 Mass Effect games. I want more. But I don't just want a sequel to the trilogy or Andromeda (not that I'd say no to them). Here what I want:

A First Person Shooter set during the First Contact War. You play as a squad of marines. Each level you take on a different one. There are 6 of them, each based on one of the 6 Mass Effect classes. Each level is designed around their abilities. A sniper level for the Infiltrator. A defense level for the Engineer, involving setting up turrets. Play as a young Captain Anderson (before he was a Captain) for the first and last level. Maybe throw something like a Mako for a vehicle based level somewhere.

What do you think?
