My wife and I watched this for the ~5th time last night and it's so freakin good. Literally one of my favorite films of the last several years. It's one of the most romantic films I've ever seen, but it's not strictly romance. There is a supernatural mystery and a race against time. Despite having seen it a few times, it's still every suspenseful.

I also think it really benefits from rewatching. Once you understand what's really going on, you can go back and pick up on a bunch of little details that add to the story throughout. So, rewatch it if you've only seen it once.

This book is very good. It's a dark fantasy take on a princess fairy tale. A princess seeks to kill a prince (as opposed to marry him). There's magic and curses and a demonic chicken. It's brimming with feminine rage. Has just a touch of romance. Great stuff.

It's the 4th book I've read from the author and all have been enjoyable. I need to read more of her stuff.

I've gotta tell ya. I really like this book! It's severely cute and cozy. A warm hug. All the cliché descriptors are accurate. A cozy fantasy novel indeed. It has compelling characters I enjoyed spending time with. A simple, yet touching story. Great stuff. You should read it!
