I miss the immediacy of strolling over to my bookcase of games and just physically picking one and inserting it in order to play it. Something about having to boot up a system and navigate menus to find games (or hell, even software or specific projects I wanna work on) crosses a line in my brain where I hesitate and procrastinate actually getting to the thing I wanna do. It's way easier to shuffle over to a physical spot and immediately be able to consider my options, reach out and grab one, and be playing whatever it is I chose within a minute without having to think about navigating software to get to it.
Like I wish my computer had save states and any project I was working on could be restored by inserting a cartridge or something.
