For just a few bucks! Old electronics being what they are I picked up the two the thrift store had on hand and, sure enough, only this one worked.
(The other was a Sony DVD/CD changer that was gonna be hooked up to the old CRT upstairs. Well, didn't power on at all, but then I realized I already...have... a ...ps2...right there...that plays... DVDs 🙃)
