I hate the specific sort of dynamic that comes from traumatic situation with a roommate. Like, it's already hard enough to navigate and untangle from the sort of relationship found in an abusive friendship, romantic partnership, or familial relation. This is that sort of situation except "You are primarily a stranger I happen to be trapped indoors with. I can only find peace in a less than 10 x 10 box and sometimes not even then.You technically have no control over me but I eventually have to sleep somewhere, and I signed a contract that keeps me from leaving. If I break that contract I might struggle to find housing elsewhere. If I set a boundary or express a negative emotion I have no idea how you will react, only that if the reaction is big enough you could get me evicted. This is a haunted house, you are the monster, and I have no choice but to wait until you attack."
