Decided to write my own music tracker program for chronicles for creating audio for the game, which is proving to be a pretty big undertaking considering I'd never even used one before. There's a venerable history of strange behavior and stranger hotkeys.
Creating a pixel art editor for EGA was a pretty big undertaking but I at least knew what parts of GIMP I liked and was used to to make something I could work fast in.
Probably going to break with some conventions for ease of use, but part of me does want to make it able to load MOD files so I can just punch in people's demoscene chiptunes.

Currently working on a fork of the SDL2 clone of FastTracker2 that exposes the .mod/.s3m/.xm read functions into a scuffed public API that I can read out into my own data structure...
