Let me count the ways:
- It's $3 on Steam with the launch discount.
- On itch.io, also $3.
- For Pico-8 users, here's the cartridge.
- And here's the source code, with external tooling for the map and dialog tree.

请别在工作死🌸I sometimes like working on never-to-be-finished video game projects
Right now I'm making a game called Chronicles.
Wanna make a game? Here is a list of great C++ libraries to use.
I maintain a Letterboxd in much the way that I assume people maintain bonsai trees.

Let me count the ways:
me and my partner played this and really loved it, thank you !! for making it !
These are my favorite types of games! I had a really good time with this!
Me too! Which ones do you like? My latest favorite is probably Tunic.
I played Tunic for a bit, but it was much more difficult than I expected!
Back as a youth I really liked these Shockwave games called Cartoon Cartoon Summer Resort. No combat, just pure adventure game but with arrow key movement. I watched a YouTube video of them recently and they…don’t hold up.
A good recent one is Boots Quest DX! https://discountrealms.itch.io/boots-quest-dx
The game from my youth that doesn't hold up is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhpGenRviEM
I'll try Boots Quest, thank you!
Jay Tholen has also been boosting Boots Quest a good bit, I bought it but have not gotten too far in.
There's also The End of Dyeus. https://www.endofdyeus.com/
I haven't beaten this one, I got halfway through and then it got too difficult and I lost interest. But if we're saying these are "Action Adventure" games, it's more action than adventure. Whereas Boots Quest is more adventure than action.
Yeah I'll probably try this too -- I love everything about the description except the part about challenging fights
my PowKiddy RGB30 showed up today (retro handheld with a 1:1 screen that's ideal for PICO-8). I happily bought this on itch.io, but thanks for the native cart :)
