- The Cohost Global Feed is a funny tag
- The first parenthetical was funny but every single one after that wasn't
- People shouldn't be able to rechost your chost to opt you in to a tag you didn't intend for (this is how the site currently functions and it is good)
- Having a community-created opt-in place to post public things to get more random eyes on it was fun and worked

afaik, 3 is literally not possible. if someone rechosts your chost with a new tag, it won't show up in that tag's feed.
If my memory serves this was a specific change staff made in a patch some time ago and it sounded like a big driver of that was that tag, and I think it was a good change
Sorry I realize now my post implied that 3 wasn't how things currently are
