The time it takes to actually write all the code for the perfect functionality and features you want doesn't take very long at all.
90% of your time is spent prototyping and iterating. You're trying to figure out what to code. You don't even know what you want. You're going to throw away entire huge chunks of work just trying to figure out what it needs to be.
This is the part that causes massive psychic damage.

It's been a very busy Q1. Friends and family visiting, learning Italian, dieting, exercising, learning electronics, landscaping the back yard, ton of time spent in and out of doctors' offices.
An yet I'm still feeling really anxious every day that I'm not working on my game
