🦨yea, recently got back into doctor who and they were actually cooking hard with that season (which is refreshing after some of the stinkers in the previous seasons)
I decided to watch the final few episodes of Capaldi since he was the only one I actually watched as it was live (had binged the previous seasons) and unfortunately never stuck through to the end. It was nice to get some closure and see him out after so long.
Also the jump from angry quirky old man to Gatwa's rendition (who i havent quite seen enough to give a short descriptor to yet) is wild

it's too bad they didn't make any episodes between these two doctors
He’s great! I believe everyone who has played the Doctor has been good and some just get stuck with more bad episodes than others, but his season was a lot of fun
The goblin airship with a musical number so campy and delightful but I was not a big fan of the space babies. Hopefully the next one is better?
It is. But I don’t mind goofy low stakes episodes of Doctor Who either so I liked space babies more than most people I think
I think I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it if it wasn't like... the first episode of the season
