Working on adding a links page.... should the icon be a little map or a globe?

Does anyone who knows stuff about websites and/or likes my stuff have any suggestions on how to add more personality to my site? I think it's cute, but I've seen some REALLY incredible sites over the past week and it makes me want to do More. If anyone has any suggestions or things they'd want to see on my site I'd love to hear!!

Here's the code if anyone wants to use it for their site! You can remove the style tag if for whatever reason you super don't want my site's custom cursor to appear when you hover over it

First notable one is there's a little Fennel sitting in the corner you can click on now.

The other big update (that wont be visible yet) is the site's visuals will change for holidays and other special occasions! This kind of required a complete rework of the way I was handling the dark mode, so there might be some things I've missed.

Right now the special visuals are:

• Sept 25: the little bee in the logo wears a birthday hat cuz its my birthday
• Sept 30/Oct 1: the little bee in the logo is replaced with Eggbug to commemorate Cohost
• Oct 25 - 31: site-wide Halloween colour scheme
• Dec 12 - 31: site-wide Christmas colour scheme

I will probably add more eventually especially cuz I don't want them all to be at the very end of the year! I wanna make my site more fun to browse and interact with.
