i set out on this rotation aiming to get an HLM clear which by the time i did, i was already at EVP 870, so getting to 9s felt very doable. and it was! this was (almost?) entirely freelance, and it was kinda wild seeing how better my teammates got as i ranked up (like i was on a 13 win streak from 530 -> 790)

so, i hate being results-oriented about salmon run. it takes something that i find really enjoyable and turns it into something that i only really enjoy if i am winning. the last couple of times i went for 9s, this had a pretty big mental effect on me. so... this time, i had a goal, but also tried to focus more on having fun? and like, enjoying playing the game that i like playing, haha
and it felt a lot better! i would have been happy not making my goal of HLM clear, but it was also nice getting the clear and the 9s. i'll keep this in mind for future gaming ::)
