February felt like an entire year on its own and it's the shortest month of the year
Bonsai is a good hobby to get into because you get to experience spring earlier than normal gardeners. The best time to repot bonsai is in Feb because it's when the roots are actively transferring sap from the winter root storage to the branches and buds. So you can repot them (for aesthetics and maintenance) without doing harm to the tree.
So while every other gardener is pacing about going crazy, we get to be outside working on plants.
My mood was 10000% improved over January because of this.
