I wonder if it'd be valuable (let alone easy) to get card images in summary/details rather than links out to other websites/platforms?
If I understand how summary/details works correctly, it'd make the site load every single card image at once when loading the post, which seems rude.
Also, hosting the images would be a pain in the ass.
Besides, scryfall has a bunch of extra information (like the updated Oracle wording for old cards)
I'm not sure if cohost supports it, but loading="lazy" does seem to work within summary/details or display:none -> display:block or what-have-you.
And scryfall seems to support hotlinking through urls obtained from https://scryfall.com/docs/api/images, which is what EDHREC uses for all its card images.
So, I guess theoretically it can be done.
It seems that cohost currently strips out loading="lazy". I looked into responsive techniques as a work-around, but it seems cohost also strips srcset attributes from <img> tags, as well as the <picture> element.
this looks so good! would be fun for posting my commander decks for safekeeping
I initially read the deck name as "Turbofrog" and was amused~ (PS cool CSS tool!)
