Concept: Immersive sim video game where you play as a stage magician. Your goal is to use the various systems and affordances to assemble viable magic tricks. Imagine a stealth game but rather than being about the visibility of your whole character, it's about the visibility of individual instances of specific and very granular verbs like palming or loading objects.

yeah, some sort of mechanic to break down time and intention so that you don't have to become an expert juggler etc just to pull off a 2 or 3 deep combo or a high skill "shot". so much advanced imsim play creativity comes up against execution skill.

Yeah I don't know if you've played Shadow Tactics or Desperados 3, but those games are real time but they have affordances to let you essentially program actions or auto-pause the game in order to let you coordinate complicated combinations of actions without APM becoming a factor.
