Can we talk about how, while we weren't looking, the variant sudoku people have gone absolutely off the deep end. Like just completely out of their minds. There's a whole family of grid-based pencil puzzles that are cousins to sudoku, this puzzle is like a nesting doll of different ones where you do one puzzle and the result of that puzzle gives you the starting clues for the next puzzle.
This legitimately sounds like the Chess variants in 17776. Like, the fact that this is real retroactively makes 17776 more concerningly realistic.
