Belle du Jour is leaving Mubi in two days (in my region anyway) so I sat down to watch it and yeah I'm pretty sure that about 36 minutes into this movie Catherine Deneuve briefly was the hottest any person on Earth had ever been, it's pretty clear how seeing this film once sustained the boomers for decades before the advent of home video pornography
