My one thing with Against the Storm now that I've reforged the gold seal and basically finished the 'normal' campaign (with a ton of 'postgame' to go) is that I wish the difficulty hit on a spot where games were longer and required you to explore deeper into the tech tree/economy but (crucially) that didn't come with more demanding villagers, blight, worse negative modifiers, etc
