So I hadn't really paid close attention to what was going on with Tumblr; the site has been unusable for me for months, presumably because of some CDN misconfiguration affecting users in some regions and/or ISPs.
But like, the CEO apparently literally posted "well if people are going to be so mean to me I am not sure there should be a tumblr at all!"? That's buck wild. That's the whole damn herd of deer.
He literally got a taste of the brigading that goes on every day for regular users, and was like "wow this sucks real bad" lmao
Like literally said "better moderation tools were not on our road map, but I guess they should be".
