If Cohost goes away I'm not sure what I will do, but the most likely outcome is that I'll just disappear from social media entirely. I have no real interest in going back to Twitter (or one of the various diet Twitter options).

Was going to say the same thing nearly verbatim! In preparation for the potential worst I should really get my head around RSS.
Not yet, but the March financial report mentioned that their main funder has gone awol, so they're trying to figure out other options to keep the site running
Genuinely I was having the same thought. Like, where would I go? Nothing’s going to scratch the same itch, and hanging out on Mastodon or Bluesky or whatever doesn’t seem likely to enrich my life. Probably just eschew social media and read more.
