I will never play any of the Panzer Dragoon games because honestly why would you but the story and setting and mechanical ideas of those games make such a strong impression on me that I regularly think about them even though, again, why would you actually play them.

This to me is what classic Sega is all about. No major company has come closer to reaching out and touching something numinous.
