I've been playing one of the Atelier games (Atelier Ayesha) and have been really enjoying its slice of life scope. It's a bit less life simmy but it really expertly tackles a low scope that feels earnest

I recall picking up Blue Reflection 2 sight unseen to scratch this very itch and being pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed myself. A bit tedious but very charming for all that

My next fan translation project is probably going to be one of these - a Chinese-language life sim/RPG that's more on the Princess Maker-style stuff, with systems-heavy character raising and life sim dating alongside turn-based PRG stuff.
