I think in a better universe Kelsey Grammer's post-Frasier career was to just walk into as many tv shows as possible, still playing Frasier, thus implying that they take place in the same setting as Cheers. Like as a tv industry-wide running joke. Frasier's character slowly evolving and changing over time as his life went on in the background in between one-off appearances on random shows.
